Crisis Management - Cross Border Solidarity in time of crisis

Cities´ cooperation can play and certainly played an essential role during the pandemic. For instance, cities worldwide supported each other at the beginning of the pandemic by the admission of patients in hospitals, exchange of medical expertise, and donations. Yet, cities´ cooperation also faces challenges in times of Covid-19, such as border closure and different national regulations. In this session, urban practitioners have the chance to exchange experiences of cooperation between cities and learn about good practices from municipalities worldwide.
