"Green Urban Infrastructure" is currently the main thematic focus of Connective Cities in Asia. The topic is particularly relevant against the background that Asia is one of the fastest growing urbanized regions. By 2050, 60 percent of the Asian population will live in urban areas.

Group: Sustainable Infrastructure (Global)
In order to sustain a multi-sectoral and multi-dimensional planning approach, a collaboration between governments, municipalities and other relevant stakeholders is necessary to turn ambition into action. The main aim of this exchange is therefore set on discussing challenges and showcasing benchmarks of cities to gain new insights into Participatory, Innovative and Sustainable Urban Infrastructure Decision Making. This virtual space is designated to a multi-session dialogue addressing overarching questions and case studies about sustainable infrastructure planning and the institutional barriers of cross-sectoral collaboration.
