Climate Resilient City Initiatives: Promoting small Initiatives that gain Momentum

This session wants to encourage a reflection on how to start and promote concrete climate-friendly development initiatives in the field of green urban development, mobility, and energy. It follows the approach of starting with smaller initiatives that can create a larger momentum over time. It will provide examples and suggestions on how to start a search and discovery process for activities that can be promoted and realized without long-term investments and cumbersome bureaucratic processes and how to create a coalition of actors in that respect.
The session will include an input by Oliver Lah as well as a joint reflection with the participants on ways to initiative a search and discovery process for smaller green development initiatives that have the potential to create a new momentum for longer term activities.
The conference language is English with simultaneous translation into Arabic.
