In the wake of the Pandemic, municipalities in the MENA region both urban and rural, are dramatically rethinking their modes of operation and act as incubators for social enterprise.
Objectives
The training is aimed at:
- Empowering MENA entrepreneurs and municipalities through targeted training programs, that will equip them with firsthand social entrepreneurship skills (project identification, market analysis, feasibility analysis, processes of assessing the social and financial potential of enterprise ideas, etc.
- Exploring the advantages and challenges that social enterprises face in the marketplace and offering examples and case studies to illustrate successes and failure.
- Enhancing the cooperation between Municipalities and social enterprises (role of municipalities in promoting social entrepreneurship).
- Networking through providing an opportune platform for the creation of Business Networks, exchange of knowledge (incubators, accelerators, Hubs, etc.) sharing of experience and success stories between young men and women from MENA, contributing towards poverty eradication efforts and better economic and social life.
