Based on the discussion we had during the 1st workshop, we have identified the following challenges as priority topics to address together in the coming meetings of the working group:
1.) Development of Crisis Management guidelines at the municipal level based on the establishment of a crisis management unit in the municipality.
2.) Creation of public awareness about crisis management and the involvement of the civil society.
3.) Capacity building and training of the municipal staff on crises management
During the this 2nd workshop, municipalities of Batna and Al Zarka presented the challenges in their repsective municipalities. In this session municipalities of Gaza and Abasan Al Kobra will present their challenges and the group will jointly identify needed support and possible solutions.
