Abraham Afful is a Senior Project Advisor with the C40 Cities Finance Facility (CFF), working through GIZ to support the City of Accra in developing a finance-ready municipal solid waste source separation and composting project. Serving as the technical focal point, he coordinates among city authorities, consultants, and international partners, while also engaging financial institutions to explore funding opportunities. Abraham provides technical advice, oversees consultants, aligns the project with the UKAID Climate Action Implementation initiative, and facilitates knowledge exchange with C40 sister cities.

 

With over 10 years of experience in waste, water, and sanitation management, he is also a member of the International Solid Waste Management Association (ISWA), research scientist and freelance consultant with seven peer-reviewed publications in solid waste management.
